| By TLex HELSON have produced a Tantalum version of their Shark Diver. For those who aren't au fait Tantalum aka Tantalium. It is a rare and very hard metal with lovely blue-gray color. It is also extremely heavy. The Shark Diver Tantalum weighs in at 250g on its rubber strap. For comparison the the SD Bronze weighs 193g and the SD Titanium weighs just 140g.
HELSON have used Tantalum for the watch case, crown, bezel and dial with Titanium being used for the caseback. Only three watches have been made as well as a Tantalum version of the Buccaneer, which will be available by the end of the week. |
