Balance stuff is broken, hair is completely destroyed and axes is broken too. My watchmaker cleaned and check other parts of mechanism and evriting is O.K with it. Maybe it is the best option - to change complete calibar, if I don't find the mising parts. Maybe someone knows if it is possible to replace my mechanisam with the one which is made some years after? pmwas - 2015-01-02, 21:54 Well, just to summarize... All you need is to get a 'Chistopolski' movement with good parts you need and replace just the parts, leaving the original movement in your watch. Also, a 2ChZ movement from 1940-41 should do as well - it's exactly the same. This should not be an extremely difficult task, sadly - I don't have one at hand

After meny trials my watchmayker (is an excellent old craftman) told me that balance staff is now not the biggest problem, but the main problem is the whells are worned a out. Evrithing was tried to make one functional watch but there was no result. The watch works properly a few hours then it stops.
